Acrylic paints for leather based on water-based acrylic dispersion are intended for painting products made of natural and artificial leather.
They have a rich color and create a matte effect on the skin after drying.
After drying, the paint is elastic and wear-resistant.
Before starting work, it is important to first clean the skin of dirt and degrease.
It is recommended to mix the paint and varnish thoroughly before use.
The paint is applied with a brush in a thin and even layer. Usually 1-3 layers, depending on the desired level of coverage, as well as the color of the base.
The same principle works here as when painting ordinary fabric. If the skin is dark and a dense fill is needed, then the greatest effectiveness will be achieved with preliminary underpainting with white paint. This way the color will be bright from the first layer. However, you can simply add color by adding layers. With this approach, it is important to let the previous layer set before applying a new one.
The manufacturer advises drying each layer for 2 hours.
It should also be taken into account that different shades differ in their basic coverage. For example, black, brown, blue and light blue are dense colors, while yellow, fuchsia and gold are more “fluid”.
The consistency of the paint is not very thick and it is easy to apply in its pure form, however, the brush can be wetted, for example, to paint fine details.
Due to the relative lightness of the paint, it is convenient to use even soft brushes when painting on the skin.
The smell is similar to Decola in fabric. The colors in the palette also repeat the shades in the fabric series, but the pigmentation is higher.
The colors mix easily. The colors overlap each other effectively, with even light on dark looking vibrant and convincing.
